Roma, Teatre Quirino<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">L\u2019any 1984, a Madrid, a trav\u00e9s dels productors de \u201c ARA-Espacio de Creaci\u00f3n\u201d, Salvador T\u00e1vora,\u00a0director de la agrupaci\u00f3 teatral \u201cLa Cuadra de Sevilla\u201d, em va proposar realitzar una pintura\u00a0en directe de 7 x 2\u201950 metres, en el temps de duraci\u00f3 de la obra que s\u2019havia de presentar\u00a0al Festivalle della Pasqua di Roma dirigit per Maurizio Scaparro. La obra es titulava \u201cPasqua\u00a0popular flamenca\u201d, sobre una idea de Jos\u00e9 Monle\u00f3n. Estava representada per : Enrique\u00a0Morente, Manolo Sanlucar, Vicente Amigo, Ballet Espa\u00f1ol de Madrid, La Cuadra de Sevilla i\u00a0Josep Maria Rossell\u00f3. Participavem al festival en representaci\u00f3 de l\u2019estat espanyol, a traves\u00a0del Ministerio de Cultura. I va ser Paloma Gomez Borrero qui va fer de cap de premsa de la\u00a0representaci\u00f3 espanyola.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Es van fer quatre representacions, al Teatre Quirino, i vaig pintar quatre teles. L\u2019 \u00e8xit va ser\u00a0sonat. Sembla, per comentaris que se\u2019m van fer a posteriori que hi va haver inter\u00e8s per part\u00a0d\u2019algun dels museus romans, de que alguna de les teles rest\u00e9s a Roma, per\u00f2 els productors s\u2019hi\u00a0van negar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Les teles van arribar al meu taller de Madrid, al carrer General Arrando, enrotllades una sobre\u00a0l\u2019altra. Aix\u00ed que les vaig separar, n\u2019hi havia dues que estaven aferrades, per que es van posar un\u00a0sobre l\u2019altra quan la anterior encara estava parcialment fresca. Va ser necessari l\u2019\u00fas de la for\u00e7a\u00a0per a separar-les, i es va produ\u00efr un desgarrament en una de les teles, cal tenir en compte\u00a0que per que el projecte no s\u2019encar\u00eds massa i per les extraordin\u00e0ries dimensions de les obres,\u00a0es va utilitzar roba de llen\u00e7ol (cot\u00f3). La tela en q\u00fcesti\u00f3, la vaig apeda\u00e7ar provisionalment, per\u00a0a restaurar-la m\u00e9s endavant. Per\u00f2 un bon dia tot va anar a parar a un magatzem amb altres\u00a0obres meves, un magatzem que estava a nom dels productors, i les teles van desapar\u00e8ixer\u00a0sense haver estat fotografiades.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">De tot plegat no m\u00e9s en restava un testimoni, la filmaci\u00f3 que va realitzar la RAI i que despr\u00e9s\u00a0va adquirir TVE, i la premsa que vaig poder recuperar quasi clandestinament al cap de tres\u00a0anys.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">L\u2019 any 2005, la trucada de tel\u00e8fon d\u2019un dels qui havien estat els productors del projecte, em\u00a0va posar sobre av\u00eds de que havien localitzat el magatzem on estaven dipositades les teles.\u00a0Es van traslladar al meu taller de Tarragona on es van restaurar i condicionar. Per les seves\u00a0dimensions, calien m\u00e9s de 20 metres de distancia per a poder-les fotografiar, i l\u2019\u00fanic lloc on\u00a0es donaven les condicions id\u00f2nies era el Tinglado 1 del Moll de Costa de Tarragona. Me\u2019l van\u00a0concedir durant deu dies, el que va fer que la exposici\u00f3 i fotografia de les teles fos p\u00fablica i es\u00a0veies involucrada en un nou projecte, \u201cCadavre&amp;Grafitti\u201d, que inspirat en el joc del \u201ccadavre- exqu\u00eds\u201d, constru\u00efa un pont cap al grafitti.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Les teles, una a una van ser fotografiades per Pep Escoda, aix\u00ed com tot el projecte i els artistes\u00a0que el van integrar. L\u2019any 2006 el Museu d\u2019Art Modern de la Diputaci\u00f3 de Tarragona (MAMT)\u00a0va realitzar una exposici\u00f3 de les fotografies amb el t\u00edtol \u201cLa mem\u00f2ria de l\u2019ef\u00edmer\u201d\u00a0Les teles, enrotllades, han estat desades al meu taller fins a l\u2019any 2013, que per raons\u00a0financeres vaig tindre que tancar. La primera de les teles pintades a Roma, ha estat cedida al\u00a0MAMT. Les altres estan desades al Port, i formaran part d\u2019un nou projecte en el que es podran\u00a0veure exposades totes juntes per primer i \u00fanic cop d\u2019aqu\u00ed a un any i mig (2015). La exposici\u00f3\u00a0portar\u00e0 per t\u00edtol \u201c Teoria de la destrucci\u00f3\u201d.
